Are we allowed to move into our fall assignment for summer housing?

No, summer housing is randomly assigned; we can’t make any exceptions unless necessary.

Does WashU provide any storage?

WashU does not provide any storage. Check out uTrucking for your moving and storage needs. 

Can I stay in my spring assignment longer?

If you need to stay longer than Residential Life’s move-out dates, fill out the Late Stay Request Form on the Housing Portal. The Late Stay Request Form will be open from April 1 until May 5 at 11:59 p.m. CST. 

Is St. Louis safe?
  • WashU Police is on duty 24/7. 
  • The Bear Patrol provides walking and golf cart escorts from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on campus. Request an escort by calling 314-935-5555. 
Is the intern/research flat rate negotiable?

No.

Is the intern/research flat rate per suite or person?

Per person.

Are there shuttles in the summer?

Shuttles will be operating from Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
