We are proud to offer St. Louis’ premier intern and research housing to both WashU and non-WashU Students, 18 years or older participating in an academic internship or research project. 

WashU and non-WashU students can move in on or after Sunday, May 25 and must move out on or before Saturday, August 9. The Summer Flat Rate is $2,800 plus a $30 application fee.

  • 3 single bedrooms in each apartment 
  • Full kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher (pots and pans are not included)

  • Each single bedroom has one full-size bed, one dresser, one desk, one chair and a small bookcase/nightstand and closet (linens are not provided)

  • 2 to 4 single bedrooms in each traditional style apartment located in the Ames Place Neighborhood, one block from the Danforth Campus

  • One bathroom including vanity, toilet and tub with shower

Summer building & room assignments 

  • Specific apartment or room requests cannot be accommodated
  • Students will be notified of their summer housing assignment in mid-May. 
  • All bedrooms will be assigned to students at random unless a mutual suitemate is requested.  
  • All random assignments will be made according to gender. 

Summer dining 

  • Dining is available in the Danforth University Center.
  • Campus dining accepts credit card or Bear Bucks which can be added via your account if you’re a WashU student.

Summer parking 

  • Summer parking passes will only be permitted to park in their designated garages/lots. 
  • Some buildings require summer parking passes to be purchased. You can find out more information by visiting Parking & Transportation.

Failure to cancel your reservation 30 business days prior to your scheduled check-in will result in a $200 fee.
